Are you a driving instructor franchise?
As a training organisation DITA do not franchise driving instructors, however when you complete a course with DITA we will guarantee to find you a placement within a driving school in your local area on a franchise basis.
Are you part of a driving instructor college?
DITA is an independent training organisation, who specialise soley in the training of Driving Instructors. We are in no way linked to or associated with The Instructor College.
I want to learn to become a driving instructor – what should I do first?
The first step you need to take is to contact DITA on 01268 449199 and we will arrange for you to speak with someone about your suitability to the profession and will give you all the information you will need to take you to the next step.
Is there a guaranteed driving instructor job after successfully completing driving instructor training?
Yes, DITA guarantee to find you a position with a driving school in your local area once you have completed your training and passed all three qualifying exams.
Do I need a special car to be a driving instructor?
You will need a dual controlled vehicle, which may be provided by the school for whom you work, however sourcing such a vehicle for yourself is an easy enough process. If you have any problems with this please feel free to contact DITA and we will steer you in the right direction. (pardon the pun)
What is a DSA trainee licence?
Once you have completed exams for parts 1 and 2 and then completed 40 hours of part 3 training, you may start to teach learners on a trainee licence, while preparing for your part 3 exam.
