Road Safety Training Initiative by Local Driving School
Jun 13 2008
Shocked by the findings of a study carried out by the AA, that Great Britain has the third worst rate of pedestrian fatalities on roads out of the ten European countries studied, Drive School of Motoring have decided to try and tackle the problem from the grass routes.
They are currently in talks with local 6th form colleges and at no cost to the colleges, aim to bring road safety to the most vulnerable group of all; young adults, the next generation of drivers.
The aim of the course is to educate young people of the dangers that they not only face at present as pedestrians, but also to instil the right attitude towards road safety as drivers, hopefully helping to improve road safety in the long run.
If you would like more information on the course, or are involved with youth groups of any kind and would be interested in the course coming to your venue, then contact Drive School of Motoring on: 01268 478606 or email them at: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) www.driveschoolofmotoring.com.
